Child care training set

Child Care Aware of Northwest Arkansas is providing free training. Classes include:

• Monday: “Anger: Strategically Planning Your Behavior” introduces the class to ideas that will assist them in strategically planning for their angry behavior. Class is held 10 a.m.-noon at 614 E. Emma Ave., Suite 131 in Springdale.

• Tuesday: “Managing Step-Families” teaches how to adjust to blended families and the challenges for the parent and child. Class will be 6-8 p.m. at 614 E. Emma Ave., Suite 131 in Springdale.

• Wednesday: “Conscious Discipline Book Study: Assertiveness and Choices” will discuss how to access and develop your own assertive voice and learn how to help children build their self-esteem by offering two positive choices. Class is 10 a.m.-noon at 1200 W. Walnut St., in Rogers.

• Jueves: “Autoestima e intimidación en los niños”. Las clases se encuentran los jueves de 6-8 p.m. y están localizadas en 614 E. Emma Salón 218 en Springdale. Llame al (479) 751-9494 para más información.
