Bass tournament groups set seasons at Beaver Lake

Beaver Lake tournament bass fishing circuits have announced their schedules for the 2020 season. All dates are tentative, pending approval by the Army Corps of Engineers.

All tournaments are out of Prairie Creek park.

Northwest Arkansas Team Trail will hold four tournaments and a championship. Dates are Feb. 29, March 21, April 25 and May 30. The championship is Oct. 3-4.

There is a $50 membership fee per angler. Entry fee is $100 per boat for each tournament. Anglers fish in two-person teams.

Beaver Lake Elite Series will hold seven tournaments and a championship. Dates are March 7, safe light-4 p.m.; April 11, safe light-4 p.m.; May 2, safe light-4 p.m.; June 20, safe light-3 p.m.; July 18, safe light-3 p.m.; Aug. 15, safe light-3 p.m.; Sept. 19, safe light-4 p.m. The championship is Oct. 24-25.

Anglers fish solo in tournaments. There is a $40 membership fee per angler. Entry fee is $65 per tournament.

Northwest Arkansas Cast Masters will hold nine tournaments and a championship. Dates are March 15, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; April 5, safe light-4 p.m.; May 3, safe light-4 p.m.; May 17, safe light-4 p.m.; June 13, 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.; July 11, 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.; Aug. 1, 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.; Aug. 22, 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.; Sept. 27, safe light-4 p.m. The championship is Oct. 10-11.
